January 9th, 2012ReflectionsHave you ever been in a place in God where you felt so full and so in l ♥ ve? The Lord has been prepping me for a time as this. When you rest in the Lord, and bask in His presence, there is nothing that can take that feeling of security away. When I come home from work, the first thing I do (before anything) is praise Him, read His word, and spend some time with Him. He is beginning to reveal to me who He truly is. I find myself laughing, and smiling throughout the day just thinking about God. I can’t believe it has taken me all of this time (at the age of 33) to realize how much He loves me, and how close He wanted to be with me. Guess what? He wants to be intimate with you too. Open your heart to Him.

November 11th, 2011Kay's CornerI’ve been on sabbatical in ministry for over a month now, and I can honestly say that I am enjoying every moment of quiet time with the Lord. It is in the secret place is where God can talk to me and begin to reveal to me more of who HE is and who I am to Him. Believe it or not, God can bring new ideas to you in the secret place. Maybe you have new ideas or ventures in business, ministry, family, etc. and you are figuring out ways to make things happen in that area. God will reveal it to you when you seek HIS face and go to HIM as your source! Ask the Lord what it is HE wants you to do FIRST and what is more important, and He will begin to show you. Understand, His ways are not your ways. His thoughts are NOT your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8

October 10th, 2011ReflectionsTo all my Facebookers. Understand something. Facebook is a public diary. That’s why it’s all FACEbook!! Folks get upset and offended when you post things on here and it may not even have anything to do with THEM. Even if you did, in all honesty, you CAN (whether its right or wrong). What if there was no Facebook? Would we take certain things on here so seriously? Sorry yall, but there is the 1st Amendment. Free speech. If you don’t like what someone posts, then take them off your page and quit worrying about it. Obviously people have an account b/c they want someone to read what they wrote. Facebook can help or harm you…if you let it.

July 4th, 2011Kay's Corner, Life 101It’s easier to draw close with people that we are not in competition with. If there is someone you know that has “better” qualities, looks, etc let them walk in it. The problem is many of us push away people that intimidate us of because of something we lack. If it’s not dealt with, jealousy & competition arises, and your business will be displayed before everyone because that “thing” was not dealt with at the root. I can say this because I have been there. I use to be intimidated and jealous by other people when they possessed other things that I didn’t have (looks, money, spiritual gifts, popularity, etc.). I woke up one day and realized how the devil had been lying to me. I discovered who I was in Jesus Christ. I saw myself the way that Jesus saw me: BEAUTIFUL, GIFTED, ANOINTED, PASSIONATE, CARING, STRONG, COURAGEOUS…just to name a few.
I can say that I am free from that spirit because I know who I am in Jesus Christ. And where the spirit of the Lord is…there is liberty!

July 3rd, 2011Kay's Corner, Spiritual WarfareThe Lord has told me that deliverance is nigh. No matter how anointed we are, we will be delivered. We have to be REAL. We can’t get upset when our sin gets exposed. If you are guilty, repent and keep moving. The spirit of Jezebel wants people to think that if they get exposed in some faulty areas in their life, that its someone else’s fault for exposing them. Whatever happened to true repentance and keeping it real? Why is Leviathan gripping the necks of the Saints? What is happening to the Body of Christ? When did we ever get to the point where we are too anointed to be in the wrong?
The Holy Spirit has been speaking to me and telling me that those who camouflage their issues will find a harder time being genuine because there is something to hide. What the Lord is showing is that people who have certain roles feel like they can’t be honest about their struggles and insecurities because many people look up to them. As my prophetic gift grows, I have been subject to much attack. What I am not understanding is how the anointed are being fooled by the devil. I have been deceived many times and I am not ashamed to admit it. Matthew 24:24 says “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
The Spirit of deception is so cunning. Deception will make things appear real and they are not. Deception will cause people to think things are one way, when they aren’t. What the Lord has taught is, how to true deliverance happens when we are honest and real about ourselves. I don’t ever want to get to a place where I do not hear the voice of God because my emotions are in the way. I have no shame anything that I struggle with because my desire is to change so that the Will of the Father is done in my life. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.
